I know, I know, I stole that tagline from a very well-known brand, but it’s SO very true for Popstic Ice cream, that I just couldn’t help myself. Once you’ve tried one of their hand-made, quality ingredient ice creams, nothing else seems to compare.
They’re creamy, dreamy, delicious and full of flavour. I get excited each time we have a shoot together because I get to sample yummy new flavours. Best. Job. Ever.
Kendra and Som started off as clients, but they have become far more than that to me and when the dreaded Lurgy meant all events and functions were cancelled and they lost pretty much all their business, my heart broke.

With the busiest month on their events calendar cancelled and their Federation Square Pop Up cart unable to operate as a result of Covid 19, they found themselves with freezers full of hand made Popstics.
Determined that their Ice cream would still be enjoyed, the Popstic home delivery business was born.
Som and Kendra set themselves a modest goal to sell 20 Popstic packs in the first week. They placed a call-out on social media to the loyal customers they had met over the years at Fed Square, markets, weddings and events such as the Royal Show and were humbled to receive over 200 orders in the first 2 weeks.
Popstic is almost 6 years old. It is a family run, small batch artisan Ice Cream + Sorbet producer. They hand make all of their beautiful products for restaurants, retail and corporate clients in their Port Melbourne Kitchen.
