Hi. I'm Liat, but everyone calls me Lee. A memory is priceless and that is why I love photography. I adore being able to capture that special moment - you know the one.... the one where you're opening your images for the first time and that smile starts to spread across your face. The smile that starts at your heart and creeps all the way up to the ends of your hair and down to the tips of your toes.

That smile because, there in front of you, is that moment. A special smile or secret look, a loving embrace, an adoring gaze at a belly swollen with an unborn child, the fine hair on a newborn arm, that cheeky attempt to eat crayons unnoticed, the playful adventure that a toddler embarks on, the whimsy of childhood, the wonder of growing up. Giggles. Tickles. Snorts. Sighs. Magic.

I thrive on being able to look back upon those moments years down the track and have all those emotions come flooding back. I hope that I will be able to do the same for you.

Sweet lips {Melbourne |Newborn Photographer}

Little Tyler has lips that Angelina Jolie would be jealous of and photographing this little beauty just made my day – and made me so very clucky for another one.

Her daddy was also such a dapper hand with her – usually first time daddies aren’t so sure around their little newborns, but Matt was comforting her like a pro and I was so impressed. And of course the gorgeous Renay (whose maternity shoot I recently blogged) was so calm and content with her beautiful little girl in her arms. They make such a serene, happy family and I loved spending the morning with them. xoxox

Identical Angels {Melbourne | Newborn Photographer}

These gorgeous little twin girls, Ruby and Ava, had my heart the minute I walked in the door and saw their angelic sleeping faces. The twin nuzzles into my neck just about made me die of cluckiness and made my heart swell with adoration. I was so grateful in that moment that I am due to have my own little bundle in a few months!!

This was my first twin newborn shoot and it almost didn’t happen, but I am so, so pleased that we finally worked things out and I managed to capture some moments that I just know will be forever treasured. In a funny little twist, it turns out I used to work with their daddy in a previous magazine editing life! Such a small world and it made this shoot even more special. Ben and Mel, you are a beautiful couple with beautiful children and I am so blessed that I got to capture these two at such a precious moment in their lives. I know you now have four under four and you’re just trying to get through each day, but try treasure these special first weeks for the magical times that they are.

Can’t wait to watch these little pumpkins grow. xoxoxox

Beauty {Melbourne | Newborn Photographer}

I am so late in posting the sneak peak of this little newborn beauty, because winter has it’s way of creating havoc in our lives. But every time I look at this gorgeous she brings peace and serenity into my heart.

Despite a bit of a rough start to life (dislocating her hip at birth), she was so sweet and peaceful at our shoot, barely even stirring each time we moved her. Jasmine is absolutely beautiful Kellie and Glen and I just know she is going to bring you so much happiness and joy.

Puppy Love {Melbourne | Pet Photography}

All week last week they were promising glorious weather for Friday and I couldn’t wait because I had my very first pet shoot planned. Of course, Friday dawned cold and miserable, but these four adorable dogs didn’t mind in the slightest and still had a ball at the puppy beach in Brighton.

However, this wasn’t your everyday pet shoot, because these doggies were there for business – my very good friend Tully’s new dog training business that he is starting up. We were at the beach taking pictures for his upcoming website and the dogs were on their best behaviour. Tully shows such love and patience for these dogs and they adore him – you could just see it in their eyes. I just know that Tully is going to rock this business and one day, when I get a puppy of my very own (Eddy has been promising me one for 7 years… maybe one day!) I know where I’ll be sending it for some puppy pre-school!

Thanks for such a fun morning Tully. Mia had a blast too and everytime we go to the beach now she checks the sand everywhere and proudly states: “No poo mummy!” she must’ve encountered a lot of land mines, hehehehe.
