Please sir, can I have some more? {Melbourne | Family Photography}

Please sir, can I have some more…This is what I was asking for after my amazing session with the Wolf family. It’s not everyday that you go to a session and you get to photograph a beautiful family in a beautiful vintage Mercedes Benz,  paint the walls to your heart’s content  and get involved in a food fight – and yep, I did get caught in the crossfire every now and then. But worry not, my camera (my baby!) is safe!

So what can I say, I had so, so, so much fun with Taras, Rebecca, Ariana and Kiara yesterday morning. At first I was apprehensive because Melbourne really turned on the rain on Friday night. But Saturday morning dawned sunny and beautiful, the balloons I had picked up the night before were still floating and all was well in the world!

Then I got to the Wolf’s house and they, along with their house, were an open canvas. They were up for anything and I can honestly say I have not had as much fun in a very long time! The Wolf’s will be tearing most of their house down tomorrow morning and they wanted to document their last few days in what has been their home for the past five years before they start afresh. The house is covered with painting and drawings they’ve made over the last few months, documenting their lives and their excitement for the new chapter in their lives. There was barely one wall left untouched, and we used that wall for our piece-de-la-resistance!

*NOTE – thank you to Kelly for helping me out and being my assitant for the day – you were awesome!*

And finally the highlight of the shoot, the massive food fight. Boy were we all glad that the kitchen was being torn down so that no post-food-fight clean-up was necessary!

I hope you love your photos guys, and that they’ve captured everything you wanted them to and more!
